Description
The Bourdon tube is also sensitive to temperature changes. At low
temperatures the tube will be much stiffer and more difficult to
straighten. To keep this temperature effect as small as possible
the construction material of the tube should be well chosen.
Materials having an modulus of elasticity which is insensitive to
temperature change are recommended. Fast response time and good
sensitivity are among the more desirable features of the Bourdon
tube.
